one of those odd truths of life I am discovering:
the minute you no longer need other people’s words of affirmation to confirm that you are indeed awesome, those people start showing up in droves.
you think self-love is going to come from external reinforcement, but really, if you build it within yourself, that reinforcement becomes simultaneously prevalent & unnecessary.
choosing to be happy is something you can do right...
I just took the Authentic Happiness Inventory Questionnaire, & I got a score of 4.04, on a scale of 1 to 5. I scored higher than 95% of the test-takers. Sweet!
